What we do with a search
A search asks our data providers whether they hold records matching what you entered. If they do, we show you enough to tell people apart — an age band, a location, and which kinds of record exist — and nothing more until you subscribe.
Opening a report fetches the sections your plan includes and stores what came back, so opening it again does not cost another lookup. Each value carries the date of the record it came from, not the date we fetched it.
What we do not do
We do not verify that a record is correct, and we do not merge records we are not confident belong to the same person — a partial match is labelled as one.
If the records are about you, you can have them removed without an account and without paying. Remove your records.
